To get a sense of wait times, check on our fleet vs volume status (fvv) at the bottom of any page. This is a rating of 0-10 which the dispatcher adjusts throughout the day as conditions change. It indicates the strength of the fleet (number of carriers working) relative to the current delivery volume. Most of the time we are at FVV 8 or above.
The status also communicates our availability to our valued out-of-primary-range customers. Check our FAQ page for a guide to our delivery range and how it extends further when our FVV status is high. Table below is for food. The table gives you a guess of wait times for different neighbourhoods. After checking out the table initially, you may only need to check the FVV status in the future to get a sense of wait times.
prep: the time it takes from the moment of ordering the food to the food being ready. Note that if you choose a place where the carrier will order the food at the counter, there is additional time for getting to the restaurant, and possibly waiting in line, before prep begins
